Police sources say that three bodies suspected of having died from poisoning were found in a house in Seenimodara, Tangalle.
Two of the bodies were found initially and the other body was found later. The house was under renovation and another person was admitted to the Tangalle General Hospital due to a sudden illness, where he also died.
The police have also found 10 packets containing the drug Ice in a lorry near the house.
The police have now initiated investigations into the incident and it is reported that the government analyst is conducting an autopsy on the incident.
