A complaint received on the 119 emergency number is being investigated. Four officers of the Tissamaharama Police have left in a jeep. It is reported that when the four officers got out of the jeep, a group of people have hijacked the jeep.
The Tissamaharama Police, alarmed by this, has launched an operation to find their jeep. It is reported that the jeep, which was abandoned in the Ellagala area, has now been found.
