Police sources say that the car in which the shooters arrived in connection with the shooting and killing of a person in the Wettumakada area of Kalutara has been found abandoned in the Nebada area of Thebuwana and is still in use.
The police said that the car was found near the Nebada post office in Thebuwana.
A gunman who arrived in a car and opened fire on a person riding a motorcycle in the Wettumakada area of Kalutara this morning (28). The person who was shot died after being admitted to the Nagoda Hospital in Kalutara, while the police have commenced investigations to arrest the suspects who fled.
