The scholarship exam will not be held again.

Commissioner General of Examinations Amit Jayasundara said that the 5th grade scholarship examination, which caused controversy due to a problem with exiting questions, will not be held again this year.

He said that it was decided to give free marks for the 03 related controversial questions while attending the news conference held in the examination department this afternoon.

A committee of 07 members had also been appointed to decide whether or not to re-conduct the controversial scholarship exam. Apart from that, the examination department as well as the criminal investigation department had started investigations.
