The Ministry of Commerce of Thailand has announced that Thai Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin will visit Sri Lanka in February to sign a Free Trade Agreement (FTA) between Sri Lanka and Thailand.
Chotima Iemsawasdikul, Director General of the Department of Trade Negotiations of the Ministry of Commerce, told the media yesterday that these agreements are to be signed according to the agreement reached during the talks between Sri Lanka and Thailand on December 18-20 in Sri Lanka.
According to the invitation of the President of Sri Lanka, Ranil Wickremesinghe, the Prime Minister of Thailand is scheduled to visit Sri Lanka to sign the agreement in February.
