Public Security Minister Ananda Wijepala said that the people who removed the archaeological nameplates in the Batticaloa area have now been identified and that the matter will be presented to the court.
He said that six archaeological nameplates installed in the Valachchena Police Division have been removed in this way, and addressed Parliament that the Chairman and Deputy Secretary of the Pradeshiya Sabha were also present for the purpose.
