The person who made a phone call to the police emergency number about an attack on a Muslim church in Akurana area on Easter has been arrested. A group of officers of the Criminal Investigation Department, who conducted investigations on this call, arrested this person in the Harispattua area early this morning.
Reported police sources said that because of the fake call made by this person, special police and military security was deployed to more than two hundred churches in Kandy and Panadura areas.
