A photo of a young woman receiving an award wearing a half-naked dress showing off her tattooed thighs is widely shared on social media in Sri Lanka. The majority of the posts read that she was a Sri Lankan young woman and would appreciate wearing such a dress and participating in a similar event. But in fact check, it has been confirmed that she is not really a Sri Lankan girl.
It has been confirmed that this photo is not an occasion of an award ceremony held in Sri Lanka, but an occasion of a business festival called “MAHA MEGA” held in India.
The photograph shows the Indian actress and model Aayushi Jaiswal and it is confirmed that a photograph taken at the time of her acceptance at the award ceremony was used to gain more attention.
