The Good News is Fruitful: Japan Projects Resume

Misukoshi Hideki, the Japanese Ambassador to Sri Lanka, announced that Sri Lanka, having reached debt restructuring agreements, is working to restart Japanese projects in Sri Lanka that had been halted after the related MoUs were signed.

In a press conference held in Colombo today (28), he stated that Sri Lanka expressed its appreciation for the debt restructuring agreements with bilateral creditors.

The ambassador further stated that Japan will provide continuous support for the recovery of Sri Lanka’s economy.

Japan’s Ambassador to Sri Lanka, Misukoshi Hideki, mentioned that Japanese projects in Sri Lanka are intended to resume immediately after the signing of the MoUs and that Japan will fully support Sri Lanka in recovering from the financial crisis.
