The Director General of Government Information said that the official Facebook page of the Government Information Department (Department of Government Information) has been taken over by hackers since this afternoon (30).
The technical and legal work related to regaining that page is currently being done and it is stated that the updating of official government information and news on this official Facebook page has been temporarily suspended.
The Director General has also issued a statement saying that he is sorry for the inconvenience caused to the users of that Facebook page.
