Kaduwela Magistrate Ms. Chanima Wijebandara ordered today (05) that the 10 suspects, including the owner of the tattoo center, be remanded until August 20. This is in connection with the shooting deaths of two people, including businessman Surendra Wasantha Perera, also known as Club Wasantha, at a tattoo center in Athurugiriya.
As instructed by the court during the last hearing, police officers, including the OIC of the Western South Crime Division and the police OIC of Athurugiriya, appeared in court and revealed the progress of the investigations to date.
The evidence from the autopsy of the two murdered individuals was to be recorded on that day, and one of the suspects was presented for an identification parade.
