State debt raising up.

It is proposed to raise the state borrowing limit from 3900 billion rupees to 7350 billion rupees. Non-tariffs are proposed to be phased out over a period of three to five years. A separate agency will be started for complete digitization of the public sector.

It is proposed to modernize the customs rules. 700 million rupees will be allocated to create a new tourism culture and to modernize the government-owned resorts to attract local and foreign tourists.

2500 million rupees will be allocated for the modernization of agricultural service centers as agricultural modernization centers.

It is proposed to start a pilot project of running 200 electric buses through the Ceylon Transport Board.
