The Teachers’ Principals’ Trade Union Alliance says that the decision taken to extend the school term must be changed. They say that their alliance will give the government until the 7th of next month.
They point out that if the decision is not changed, they will engage in an island-wide trade union action in the first week of December. Ceylon Teachers’ Union General Secretary Joseph Stalin stated this while participating in a media conference held in Colombo.
