Sri Lanka receives the second tranche of the IMF

A staff-level agreement has been reached between the Sri Lankan authorities and the IMF to provide the second installment under the extended credit facility provided to Sri Lanka by the International Monetary Fund.

The official announcement issued by the International Monetary Fund states that this agreement was reached after the first review of the program implemented in Sri Lanka.

Accordingly, Sri Lanka will have access to the second tranche of US$ 330 million, according to the Financial Fund announcement.
