Section IV consultation and second review under the Extended Fund Facility (EFF) for Sri Lanka is on the agenda of the IMF Board meeting scheduled for June 12.
Minister of State for Finance Shehan Semasinghe said that the economic policies and reform progress of Sri Lanka will be evaluated in this session.
“We look forward to the continued support of all countries for a successful review to open the third tranche that will further boost economic stability, growth and reform efforts. The IMF Executive Board will take over the second review of Sri Lanka’s EFF on June 12.” he said
