It is reported that Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has extended his support to the wave of protests that has been going on in India. He has posted a post on his X account supporting the protests. The post reads as follows
”This was a very peaceful protest, and I am truly saddened that it has turned violent. My heartfelt condolences to the injured students and their families.
Question paper leaks are a very serious issue. I am happy to see the children of our country standing together for a better education system and their parents supporting it.
I truly appreciate this stand they have taken. It shows their dedication, sincerity and their desire to study hard and build their future and a more developed and educated India. This agitation, this protest, is the right way to address this issue. The students have done it very peacefully. Their courage and bravery are truly commendable. This generation, with its strong motivation and passion for education, will bring pride to India.
This is an issue between the students and the education system. It should not be allowed to be hijacked for political purposes. All the credit for this goes to the students of our country. I am sure that the government will provide them with all the support they need and strengthen the education system further. It will be a win-win situation for all parties.
