The next steps to be taken to complete Sri Lanka’s development policy operational pre-actions such as the establishment of the Parliamentary budget office, restructuring of state-owned enterprises, welfare benefit payment systems, social registry and the time frames related to each of those actions. It was also discussed at length.
Mr. Sagala Ratnayake, who praised the World Bank’s contribution to Sri Lanka’s development policy operations, said that he expects everyone’s support in the future to make this program a success.
