Professor Hiniduma Sunil Senavi, Minister of Buddhism, Religious and Cultural Affairs, says that he has the highest confidence that his government will be able to elevate the cultural life of the entire Sri Lankan community to a noble cultural life.
“Our government will be able to rebuild and develop the collapsed economy and physical life fairly soon. The lives of all the communities in Sri Lanka, whether Sinhalese, Tamil, Muslim, etc., have fallen into a deep cultural abyss, and have been dragged down. We have been watching them fall. Therefore, I think I have the greatest hope and the greatest confidence that we will be able to elevate the cultural life of the entire Sri Lankan community to a noble cultural life. My understanding is that building this economy alone will not be fruitful. “So this great task requires a lot of support.”
Hiniduma Sunil Senavi said this while speaking to the media after assuming his ministerial duties yesterday (November 19).
