A meeting between former President Ranil Wickremesinghe and former President Mahinda Rajapaksa was held at the Carlton House in Tangalle this morning (28). This was while former President Ranil Wickremesinghe was returning to Colombo from Kataragama.
At the meeting, Mr. Ranil Wickremesinghe expressed his gratitude to Mr. Mahinda Rajapaksa for the role he played during his imprisonment.
Also, steps were taken to inquire about the well-being of Mr. Ranil Wickremesinghe, who arrived at the Carlton House. The two former Presidents reportedly engaged in a cordial conversation.
