Former President Ranil Wickremesinghe says that the joint statement issued by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Anura Kumara Dissanayake in New Delhi yesterday (16) is a welcome development as it further stabilizes and strengthens Indo-Sri Lankan cooperation.
The former President made this statement in a statement.
It further states that he commends President Anura Kumara Dissanayake for developing Trincomalee as a regional energy and industrial hub and moving forward with the Economic and Technical Cooperation Agreement.
