Acting Inspector General of Police Deshbandu Tennakkon said today at a function held in Ambalangoda today that steps will be taken to confiscate all property and wealth illegally earned through drug trafficking and underworld activities within the next three months.
The Acting Inspector General of Police said that about 1091 people involved in underworld activities have been identified and the information of 790 of them has been collected so far. He also said that many changes have been made at the departure terminals of the airport to prevent people fleeing the country with fake passports.
