Harshana Rukshan, President of the All Island Canteen and Restaurant Owners’ Association, stated that a decision has been made to raise the prices of short eats by 5 rupees. He states that the prices of short eats and parathas have had to be increased following a Rs. 13 hike in the price of imported wheat flour.
Speaking to the media today (21), he mentioned that a decision has been made to implement a slight increase in the prices of these food items, and that the revised prices will be announced in due course.
