An emergency meeting is scheduled to be held at the Parliament premises this morning (27) under the patronage of President Anura Kumara Dissanayake to review the emergency disaster situation and relief services that have arisen in the country due to the adverse weather conditions.
The President’s Media Unit says that the heads of the Disaster Management Center, the National Disaster Relief Center, the Police and the Security Forces will also join this meeting.
