A Bangladesh Air Force training aircraft crashed into a school in the northern city of Dhaka this afternoon, killing one person and injuring several others.
The F-7 BGI aircraft crashed into the grounds of Milestone School and College, according to military and fire officials.
Children were inside the school at the time of the incident, and television footage showed flames and smoke rising from the crash site.
A brief statement issued by the Bangladesh Army Public Relations Office said the crashed F-7 BGI aircraft belonged to the air force. Fire officials said one person was killed and four others were injured.
