Walasmulla Magistrate Malsha Kodithuwakku today ordered that Piyal Manamperi and the Electricity Board employee, who have been arrested and remanded, be further remanded until the 12th of next month. This was when the case was taken up at the Walasmulla Magistrate’s Court today (29).
The case was taken up via video technology.
Piyal Manamperi and an Electricity Board employee have been charged with possessing chemicals used to manufacture the drug ice in the Middeniya area.
