Homagama Magistrate Rajindra Jayasuriya today ordered the owner of the cab and the other person involved in the incident that killed 7 people in a queue at a Dansala at the Meegoda junction to be remanded until the 16th.
The owner of the cab, who fled the scene after the accident, and a person who was travelling in it at the time were arrested after surrendering to the Meegoda Police through a lawyer today (06). They have since been produced before the Meegoda Magistrate’s Court.
