It is reported that a person has died in a shooting that took place yesterday afternoon in Middaramulla area of Ahungalla.
A 29-year-old youth named Enadu Tharindu Dhanushka Nisansalada Silva, a resident of Amaramoli Mawatha, Ahungalla, Middaramulla, has been killed.
The deceased was riding a motorcycle with two small children of his relatives when he was shot by two unknown persons who came on a motorcycle and ran away.
That the person who was injured by the gunshot died after being admitted to the hospital. It is also reported that the two children, aged five and one and a half years, who fell from the motorcycle after the shooting, were also injured and admitted to the Balapitiya hospital.
