A person has been injured in a shooting incident in the Ahungalla area this morning.
Police say that two men on a motorcycle fired the shots and fled.
The injured person has been admitted to the Balapitiya Base Hospital. It has also been revealed that the injured person is a relative of a criminal gang member named ‘Loku Patty’.
Ahungalla Police have initiated further investigations into the incident.
