It has been decided to implement one-hour power cuts across the island over the next three days today, tomorrow, and the day after between 4:30 PM and 8:30 PM. For this purpose, the country will be divided into four zones.
Buddhika Samarasinghe, Chief Executive Officer of the National System Operator, stated that permission for this has been requested from the Public Utilities Commission. He added that relevant details have been published on his organization’s website, as well as on the website of the Public Utilities Commission.
