One app for all government services.

The government has decided to create a ‘Government SuperApp’ to enable the public to access government services through a single computer application.

The aim is to eliminate the inconvenience caused to citizens due to the current disparate approaches to government service delivery, which require different systems, multiple authentication processes and repeated data entry across different government departments.

It is also estimated that such inconveniences cause an economic loss of more than Rs. 500 million annually. Therefore, in line with Sri Lanka’s Digital Economy Plan, a ‘Government SuperApp’ is to be developed to provide citizens with access to government services through a single computer application.
