Venerable Omalpe Sobitha Thero says that if Pastor Jerome Fernando accepts his mistake, Buddhist are ready to forgive him.
Sobitha Thero also claims that there is an opinion in the society that the Buddha has been insulted due to a statement made by Jerome Fernando. He said that Jerem Fernando’s parents came to meet him and accepted their son’s guilt.
He said that today’s world should not shed blood in the name of religion and said that such amicable discussions are very important.
