A report has been reported from the Nochchiyagama area that a father and son were hacked to death in a house. The deceased were a father and son residing in Yaya 17, Maragaha Wewa, Nochchiyagama. The deceased father was 59 years old and the son was 25 years old.
Police said that two suspects have been arrested in connection with the murders that took place this morning (12). Those arrested are two brothers from the same family.
It is reported that the father and son were murdered this morning (12) in revenge for the murder of the father of the two suspects in 2022.
The Crime Branch of the Rajangana Police is conducting further investigations.
