Decision on Parliamentary Committee Recommendations

The Special Committee appointed for the purpose has decided to provide a period of one month to implement the recommendations made by the Parliamentary Committees that have not yet been implemented.

This period has been given to implement the recommendations made by the Committee on Public Enterprises, the Committee on Public Accounts, and the Committee on Public Finance that have not yet been implemented.

It is reported that this decision was taken when the Committee met in Parliament under the chairmanship of Minister Attorney-at-Law Harshana Nanayakkara.

It has been decided to send letters to the relevant Ministry Secretaries to implement the recommendations that have not been implemented, and if those recommendations cannot be implemented within a month, to obtain the reasons in writing from the Committee.
