Professor Saman Senaweera, who served as the Chairman of the National Science Foundation and as a Director of the National Institute of Nanotechnology, has resigned from his positions.
He has forwarded his resignation letter to the Minister of Science and Technology.

Professor Saman Senaweera, a senior scientist, was working in Australia, and after the new government came to power, he was appointed as the Chairman of the National Science Foundation and a Director of the National Institute of Nanotechnology.
