According to the report, a discussion between a group including International Monetary Fund’s head of operations in Sri Lanka, Peter Breuer, and representatives of the National People’s Power was held at the Srangila Hotel in Colombo this morning (14).
A spokesperson of the National People’s Force said that in this meeting, the progress of Sri Lanka’s debt restructuring and the processes related to preventing fraud and corruption were discussed at length.
It is reported that the members of the National People’s Power, namely Professor Anil Jayantha, Professor Seetha Bandara, Dr. Harshana Suriyapperuma and its National Executive Member Parliamentarian Vijitha Herath, National Executive Member Muditha Nanayakkara and Sunil Handunnetthi participated in this meeting.
