Samagi Jana Balawegaya was registered by former minister Mangala Samaraweera, SJB Member of Parliament Iran Wickramaratne said in Parliament.
He mentioned that it is a matter of surprise that Kanchana Wijesekera, a Minister of Matara, did not know about it.
He said that the statement made by Kanchana Wijesekera in Parliament is false and since February 2020, the secretary of Samagi Jana Balavega is Ranjith Madduma Bandara and the leader is Sajith Premadasa.
Iran Wickramaratne said that Ranjith Madduma Bandara signed the nomination papers when nomination papers were given for the general election in March 2020.
