A man died in a fire that broke out in a house in the 397 Watta area of the Narahenpita Police Division early today (23).
The man died after being admitted to the Colombo National Hospital by the police while suffering from burn injuries.
The deceased was a tenant farmer aged around 50. The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained and the Narahenpita Police are investigating the incident.
