The Ministry of Industry says that the government has decided to implement several special loan schemes for industrialists from the coming week.
According to this, Shanta Weerasinghe, Secretary of the Ministry of Industry, said that the financial needs of the industrialists will be identified at the local and district level and loan programs will be implemented through commercial banks at subsidized interest rates.
In particular, it is reported that loans are to be given at subsidized interest rates such as 7% and 8%.
