The Kandy police say that a personal secretary of former Kandy District Member of Parliament and former Minister of State Lohan Ratwatte has been shot dead.
He died today (20) after being admitted to the Kandy National Hospital after being seriously injured by gunshots. Investigations are underway as to whether this was a shooting or a suicide.
