One of the two people killed in a serious shooting incident in Akuregoda this afternoon has been identified as lawyer Buddhika Mallawarachchi. His wife has also been killed in the shooting, police sources say.
The two were in their car at the time of the shooting. The two shooters may have arrived in another car, but the police say they carried out the shooting with a T-56 firearm.
