It is reported that a person has died due to the collapse of an embankment at Henawala District Hospital, Kadugannava. The deceased was a 32-year-old resident of Udunuwara who was repairing the embankment.
Kandy District Disaster Management Assistant Director Indika Ranaweera said that the accident occurred this afternoon (06) while going to repair an old embankment.
