Jayagamu Sri Lanka Comes to Matara with Many Advantages

The “Jayagamu Sri Lanka People’s Mobile Service” of the Ministry of Labour has selected Matara district for its next program. The Matara district program is scheduled to be held on the 5th and 6th of July at the Hakmana Danny Abeywickrama Ground.

The main objective of this program, which is held according to the concept of Minister Manusha Nanayakkara, is to transform the Sri Lankan worker into one who meets the demands of the modern smart world. Additionally, one of the aims is to pay tribute to the migrant worker community who contributed to the country’s recovery from the crisis.

The Sri Lanka Foreign Employment Bureau’s “Shrama Vasana Fund” has made a special contribution to the “Jayagamu Sri Lanka” program, which developed the skills and attitudes of young people seeking employment in several districts.

Jayagamu Sri Lanka, with many events such as Garusaru, Smart Youth Club, and Migrant Worker ”Harasara”, benefits not only migrant workers but also a large number of other people.

“Jayagamu Sri Lanka” provides many reliefs to the people of the Matara district, including providing smart boards to schools where children of the migrant community are studying, providing school equipment to children from low-income families, scholarships, self-employment assistance, wheelchairs, and spectacles to those with special needs.

All the services provided by the institutions under the Ministry of Labour and Foreign Employment can be availed by the public in Jayagamu Sri Lanka during these two days. Additionally, there are many service counters run by registered foreign employment agencies, through which foreign job seekers can obtain a lot of important information.
