A commemoration program was held yesterday at the Indian Peace Keeping Force Memorial in Palaly to commemorate the Indian Peace Keeping Force soldiers who fought against the LTTE terrorists during 1987-1990, in conjunction with India’s 79th Independence Day.
The event was organized by the Security Force Headquarters, Jaffna in collaboration with the Consulate General of India, Jaffna. The Consul General of India, Jaffna, Sri Sai Murali and the Commander, Security Force Headquarters (Jaffna), Major General Rasika Kumara, paid floral tributes to the fallen war heroes.
