Government Party Parliamentarian Lakshman Nipunaarachchi says that Minister Lal Kantha’s statement that if they attack us, we will attack was a profound political statement.
He also points out that he referred to the general public as “we”, and accordingly, he stated that he would not wait if the people were attacked.
Lakshman Nipunaarachchi states that the infamous Lal Kantha made that statement not on behalf of the party but on behalf of the people and that there is no difference between the party and the people in the current regime.
