Professor Rohan Samarajeeva states that if this last opportunity with the International Monetary Fund is lost, Sri Lanka will definitely become a Lebanon. He said this while joining a television actress.
He said that even today the political parties of Lebanon has not been able to reach a consensus and he says that the government has not even been able to activate the country’s banking system. He said that at least they are not able to take their money from the bank and that is why some people take toy pistols and jump into the banks and demand their money.
He also stated that what should be done to overcome this situation is to increase the productivity and increase the innovation in this country. He emphasized here that there is no way out without developing exports.
