When the relevant case was taken up today (24), it is reported that Chief Magistrate Nalaka Jayasuriya ordered the suspect to be remanded until the 28th.
Although the suspect was to be presented for an identification parade today, it is reported that the parade was not held due to the absence of the female doctor who faced the incident.
