The Committee on High Officials has approved the nomination of former Chief Justice Jayantha Chandrasiri Jayasuriya as the Permanent Representative of Sri Lanka to the United Nations in New York, USA.
The Committee on High Officials has also approved new appointments to the posts of Ambassador to Great Britain, Northern Ireland, Cuba and Japan.
