HNB General Insurance (HNBGI) continues to solidify its reputation for cultivating exceptional leadership, as two of its senior management members were honoured at the prestigious Great Manager Awards 2024, organized by the Colombo Leadership Academy (CLA).

Recognized for their outstanding leadership and people management skills, Ruwan Weerasinghe, Head of Agency Channel and Suranga Rosa, Assistant Zonal Manager (North Western) were named Great Managers at the recently concluded awards ceremony. This recognition reflects not only their individual contributions to HNBGI’s success, but also the company’s broader culture of fostering talent, empowering teams, and driving results.

Organized annually by the Colombo Leadership Academy, the Great Manager Awards program celebrates managerial excellence across Sri Lanka, highlighting leaders who inspire performance, build cohesive teams, and align organizational vision with execution. Through its strategic partnership with CLA Coaching & Consulting Inc., the initiative sets a national benchmark for leadership effectiveness and talent development.

Commenting on the recognition, Sithumina Jayasundara, CEO of HNB General Insurance, stated:
