Former Sri Lankan cricketer Hashan Tillakaratne has been appointed as the new batting coach of the Sri Lanka Cricket team. It is reported that this appointment has been made with effect from August 20th to December 31st, 2027.
Hashan Tillakaratne, who represented the national team from 1989 to 2003, has represented Sri Lanka in 83 Test cricket matches and 200 One Day International matches.
