The Department of Examinations says that all tuition classes, subject-related lectures, seminars and workshops related to the 2026 Grade 05 Scholarship Examination must be concluded by midnight today (05).
This ban will remain in effect until the end of the scholarship examination activities, and during this period, printing, distributing or advertising question papers containing guess questions related to the scholarship examination is also prohibited.
The Department of Examinations also states that posters, banners, handouts, and other materials that state that questions will be given in the examination papers or similar questions will be given, as well as the possession of such materials through electronic and printed media, are strictly prohibited.
The 2026 Grade 5 Scholarship Examination is scheduled to be held on August 9 at 2,723 examination centers islandwide. However, in view of the prevailing adverse weather conditions, a special discussion is scheduled to be held today regarding the possibility of holding the Grade 5 Scholarship Examination and the General Certificate of Education Advanced Level Examination.
